GoMerse ("we", "our", "us") operates the GoMerse application available through the Shopify App Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application. By installing and using GoMerse, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

When you install GoMerse, we access certain information from your Shopify store as authorised by Shopify's OAuth process. This includes:

• Shop information (store name, domain, email, currency)
• Product data (titles, descriptions, SKUs, barcodes, prices, images, inventory levels)
• Order data (order details, line items, customer shipping addresses for fulfilment)
• Location data (warehouse and fulfilment locations configured in your store)

We also collect data you provide directly through the application, including supplier CSV files, pricing configurations, and inventory feed settings.

We use the information collected to:

• Import and process supplier product catalogues
• Publish products to your Shopify store
• Manage inventory levels and sync stock quantities
• Process and route orders to your suppliers
• Generate product content using AI services (titles, descriptions)
• Provide analytics and reporting within the application

GoMerse uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
• OpenAI — AI-powered product analysis (column mapping, duplicate detection, variant grouping, content generation). Product titles, descriptions, and metadata may be sent to OpenAI for processing. No customer personal data is sent.
• Render — Application hosting
• Shopify — E-commerce platform integration

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase's cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your store data is protected by Shopify's OAuth authentication. We retain your data for as long as your application remains installed. Upon uninstallation, we will delete your store data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
